R&D Finance Controller

As an R&D Controller, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the financial and commercial performance of R&D projects. This includes managing budgets, forecasts, reporting, and financial alignment with strategic objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute to the development of R&D strategies and monitor KPIs related to quality, delivery, and cost. - Analyze project progress systematically and ensure completion. - Manage the R&D budget and financial performance. - Create, analyze, and value the budget framework. - Optimize project cash flow, manage currency risk, tax issues, and project financing requirements. - Capitalize projects, calculate license fees and hourly rates. - Create and close projects. - Own complete financials for MACH. - Prepare Business Financial Execution Plans aligned with objectives. - Promote commercial awareness within the R&D team and provide input to project execution plans. - Monitor claims, coordinate project reviews, and identify risks with mitigation actions. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders including product management, engineering, and operations teams. - Support the R&D management team in budget-related issues and communicate directives. - Supervise project accountants, cost engineers, and field administrators. - Implement internal control processes to avoid financial misstatements. - Ensure corporate governance, compliance, assurance, and internal control. **Required Qualifications:** - Proven experience as an R&D project controller. - Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, SD-PS, MS Office, and strong Excel skills. - Automation and process improvement mindset. - Strong numerical and analytical skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Service mindset. - Good communication and negotiation skills. - Detail-oriented team player with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications:** - MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA with postgraduate experience. - Familiarity with project management and financial software. - 8-10 years of experience in R&D controlling or project controlling within construction, manufacturing, or engineering industry. **Skills:** - Project Management Expertise. - Financial Acumen. - Communication Skills. - Analytical Skills. - Technical Understanding. *Note: This is an individual contributor role.* Feel free to reach out if you need any further details or clarification.,
