Job Title: Techno-Commercial Engineer – Government Tendering Key Responsibilities: Identify, track, and evaluate relevant government tenders (State & Central Govt., PSUs, etc.) through portals and notifications. Prepare and submit technical & commercial proposals in line with tender requirements and deadlines. Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Production, Finance, Legal) to gather necessary documents and certifications. Conduct technical bid evaluations , compliance checks, and ensure all submissions meet tender specifications. Handle pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with tender authorities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government procurement policies, GeM portal, e-procurement systems, and compliance requirements. Prepare cost estimations, price bids, and profitability analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, consultants, and contractors. Ensure timely follow-up on submitted tenders and manage post-award activities (LOIs, POs, contracts). Track competitors’ tendering strategies and provide inputs for business growth. Key Requirements: Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial) or equivalent. Experience: 4–5 years in government tendering, techno-commercial, or bidding roles.
