General Manager (Civil)

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
• Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Ensure adherence to design intent and construction drawings.

2. Cost Control & Budget Management

• Monitor cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Approve procurement strategies, contractor payments, and change orders.
• Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering initiatives.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Enforce company and statutory quality standards (IS codes, NBC, etc.).
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure QA/QC documentation and testing compliance.

4. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Enforce safety norms and environmental standards at all sites.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training for site staff and contractors.

5. Contract & Vendor Management

• Evaluate and finalize contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Ensure transparent tendering and negotiation processes.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve contractual disputes.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Define KRAs and performance goals for team members.
• Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, local authorities, and clients.
• Represent the company in project review meetings and statutory submissions.

8. Risk Management

• Anticipate delays, design conflicts, and resource constraints.
• Implement corrective action plans and escalation mechanisms.

9. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Obtain all necessary approvals (local bodies, fire, environmental, etc.).
• Maintain updated documentation and liaison with government agencies.

10. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain MIS reports, project dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Present executive summaries to top management and stakeholders.

11. Customer Handover & Post-Completion

• Ensure smooth handover to clients/customers.
• Oversee post-construction maintenance and defect liability resolution.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per year
