General Manager (Civil)

Job Designation: General Manager (GM – Civil)

Experience Required: Minimum 10+ Years
Location: AhmedabadIndustry: High-rise Buildings, Villas, Corporate, Commercial & Residential Projects

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution, Oversee day-to-day site execution activities.
• Site Management & Ground-Level Operations, also Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and machine availability.
• Survey Department: Verify setting-out work, benchmarks, levels, and surveying reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of civil works as per drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Department-Wise Knowledge & Coordination (with Contractor & Vendors):

Land Survey, QC & QA, Billing Quantity Estimation, Store & Inventory, MEP Coordination, Safety, Plant & Machinery, Tendering & Contracts

• Tendering & Contract cost:

Prepare tender documents, BOQ, drawings, and specifications.

Oversee quantity take-offs and estimation for new projects.

Coordinate with the tendering team for cost estimation and rate analysis.

Provide technical inputs during vendor negotiations and contract finalization

• Back-Office Responsibilities:

Oversee documentation, MIS reports, and project reporting to management.

Review and approve purchase orders, work orders, and engineering drawings.

Actively conduct review meetings with department heads and Contractor team.

Resolve escalations and provide timely updates to senior management.

• Compliance & Quality Standards:

Ensure compliance with RERA, local authorities, and legal requirements.

Maintain all statutory documentation.

Implement safety, and quality certification standards.

Pay: From ₹1,200,000.00 per year
