Fundraising Coordinator

About the Role We're seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Intern to support our resource mobilization efforts. As part of the fundraising team, you’ll contribute to donor research, proposal writing, event coordination, and campaign support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising for a fast-growing non-profit. Key Responsibilities Identify and research potential donors, CSR partners, and grant opportunities Maintain and regularly update a donor prospect database Draft outreach emails and proposals to prospective donors Help prepare presentations and customized donor communication Assist in organizing meetings with potential supporters Support online/offline fundraising campaigns and community events Assist with social media fundraising initiatives and newsletters Help coordinate logistics for webinars, fundraisers, and charity events Track donor interactions and ensure timely follow-ups and acknowledgments Contribute to impact reports and donor updates Manage documentation, donation records, and reports Support day-to-day functions of the fundraising team What We’re Looking For Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field Skills & Qualities: Strong research and writing skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Digital literacy (Google Suite, social media, Canva, or CRM tools) Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Passion for social justice, community empowerment, and ethical development Bonus Points for: Prior fundraising or non-profit experience Familiarity with grant writing or donor platforms (e.g., GiveIndia, Milaap, GlobalGiving) What We Offer ✅ Experience Certificate & Letter of Recommendation 📚 Learning: Deep dive into nonprofit fundraising, donor management, and campaign strategy 🌐 Networking: Connect with stakeholders in education, CSR, and social entrepreneurship 🧭 Mentorship: Work closely with Bhavishya’s founder and leadership team ⏳ Flexibility: Hybrid work model with flexible hours This is internship job and we are not offering monetary remuneration.
