Full Stack WordPress Developer

is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, high-performance web applications primarily in WordPress and PHP frameworks. The role requires 75% backend/server expertise and 25% frontend capability.This position supports international digital agency clients under a white-label model, demanding technical depth, strong communication, disciplined remote work practices, and delivery accountability.

Work Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM IST (including breaks)

Key Responsibilities

Backend & Server-Side Development (75%)

Custom WordPress plugin and theme development.
Work in Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Core PHP applications.
Manage and optimize MySQL databases.
Configure and maintain Cloudways hosting environments.
Handle DNS management, SMTP, SSL, and SSH commands.
Build and integrate REST APIs.
Ensure security hardening and follow OOP & MVC principles.
Optimize site performance for Core Web Vitals, caching, and database efficiency.
Debug and resolve errors using WP_DEBUG, Query Monitor, and logs.
Manage version compatibility across PHP/WP/plugin ecosystems.

Frontend Development (25%)

Implement responsive, cross-browser, and SEO-friendly designs.
Use page builders (Elementor, Divi, Visual Composer) for layout execution.
Collaborate with designers and PMs to ensure design accuracy and performance.
Optimize assets, JS, and CSS for speed and user experience.

Soft Skills & Remote Work Discipline

Punctuality and daily presence during IST hours.
Maintains clear communication with Technical Delivery Manager and clients.
Regular updates and task logs via ClickUp, Jira, and Slack.
Follows SOPs, naming conventions, and delivery workflows.
Maintains a distraction-free, professional work environment.
Respects deadlines and dependencies within cross-functional teams.
Maintains documentation: changelogs, READMEs, commit notes, and credentials.
Uses AI tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot for efficiency and ideation.
Adheres to security and data protection standards.
