Role Overview

Java/Spring Boot

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive UI and scalable back-end services.
• Build clean, reusable components and APIs (REST/GraphQL); write efficient, secure, well-tested code.
• Own integrations (databases, third-party services, auth, payments, analytics).
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize performance across the stack.
• Collaborate with Product/Design/QA; participate in code reviews and CI/CD.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  2+ years

  of professional full-stack development.

• Front-End:

  Semantic HTML, CSS, modern JS/TS + one framework (React/Vue/Angular).

• Back-End:

  Hands-on with at least one server-side stack—

  Java (Spring Boot)

  , Node.js (Express/Nest), or PHP (Laravel).
• Strong grasp of

  CSS

  (layouts, responsiveness, accessibility).
• Full-stack patterns: REST/GraphQL, auth, state mgmt, caching, message queues.
• Software engineering best practices (SOLID, testing, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT or related (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have

• Java

  extras: JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Data, Maven/Gradle, JUnit.
• Microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, basic cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Databases: MySQL/Postgres/MongoDB; Redis for caching.

• WordPress

  (custom themes/plugins) and/or

  Shopify

  (Liquid, app integrations).
• Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
• Performance tuning, security hardening, and analytics (e.g., GA4).

Tools & Tech (Example mix; adjust to your stack)

• Front-end:

  HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Tailwind), JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue

• Back-end:

  Java 17+ / Spring Boot
