Finance Transformation
Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.
Position Summary
Level:
Anaplan ConsultantAs an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
You will lead end-to-end Anaplan model development, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and Hypercare. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, oversee deliverable quality, proactively manage risks, and translate business requirements into optimized Anaplan solutions. You will also guide and mentor analysts and contribute to process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Business Finance, part of our Finance Transformation portfolio, delivers solution-as-a-service offerings focused on digital finance strategies, financial planning and analysis, and enterprise performance technologies. We take a holistic approach, integrating strategy development, process design, and technology enablement to help clients overcome challenges and achieve sustained business success. Our team partners with organizations to drive profitable growth, manage costs strategically, and navigate financial risks. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and business acumen to join us in delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients in their transformation journey.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, data modeling, and data integration.
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 1, Level 2, Anaplan Way).
- Anaplan Level 3 Certified.
- Proven experience leading Anaplan implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Expertise in building lists, data loading, dashboards/new UX pages, and complex calculations for custom planning.
- Ability to translate Excel-based solutions into multidimensional Anaplan models.
- Experience interacting with business users, converting functional requirements into technical user stories, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and preparing design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration guides.
- Strong focus on technical delivery, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Ability to work independently and lead junior team members.
- Experience identifying and escalating critical issues during implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business users.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Anaplan Certified Master Anaplanner and/or Solution Architect.
- Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO) certification.
- Experience building Anaplan models for specific planning processes (e.g., financial planning, workforce planning, S&OP).
- Deep understanding of planning processes across finance, supply chain, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Anaplan Connect or other integration tools.
- Knowledge of Agile implementation methodology and software development best practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in planning solutions.
Education
- B.Tech or equivalent from an accredited university (required)
