FRONT OFFICE MANAGER/ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER (FOM/AFOM) Job Summary: At The Ibnii Coorg, we are dedicated to creating a sustainable luxury resort experience for our guests. As a Front Office Manager, you will have to oversee our front desk operations and ensure a positive experience for all guests and visitors. This role is responsible for managing staff, supervising daily activities, and coordinating front office functions to ensure high standards of service and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage a team while maintaining a welcoming and professional front desk environment. service. Responsibilities: Staff Management & Training: Supervise front office personnel, including receptionists, night auditors, and concierge staff. Managing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling the staff shift. Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department making sure they adhere the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the employee handbook, hotel policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where needed. Guest Engagement: Maintain a professional and high quality service oriented environment at all times. Ensuring high standards of Guest Engagement starting from Check in till Check Out. Meeting with guest, handling complaints & special request (If any). Dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise in very professional & timely manner. Inform all Front Office staff of daily activities, group and VIP arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests. Check accommodation, making sure any special requests are carried out accordingly, greet guests upon arrival and ensure escort to accommodations if appropriate. Operational Requirement: Manage daily front office operations, oversee front desk, concierge, and luggage services, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. ¢ Financial Aspects: Set Front Office Budget for the year. Supervise Upsell program at the Front Office and work as part of the Yield Management team to try and maximize revenue for the hotel. Ensure accurate billing and charging of accounts, monitor and manage revenue goals, and handle front desk supplies and inventory. Ensuring Smooth Coordination: Ensuring everyday the Accommodation meeting is held with other operational department so that all the department have clear understanding of day to day operation, closing & next day arrival & departures. Conducting one to one meeting with the reservation team about the day arrival, about FIT or Group Guest.
