Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef, based in Delhi, India. The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high culinary standards. Responsibilities include menu planning, maintaining inventory and stock levels, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, and mentoring junior kitchen members. The Sous Chef will also collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences aligned with the resort's luxury standards. Key Responsibilities- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, menu planning, and adherence to quality standards. Leadership and team management skills to supervise and mentor kitchen staff effectively. Knowledge of inventory management, stock rotation, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary degree or equivalent experience in professional kitchens. Previous experience in a luxury hospitality setting is a plus. Control food cost through accurate food requisition. Exercise manpower planning and control to minimise labour cost.
