Job Description

The Front Desk Executive will be responsible for managing all front desk operations, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and query resolution. This role requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, a patient-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing patient satisfaction and contributing to the operational efficiency of the hospital. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Manage patient registration processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is captured. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as required, coordinating with various departments. Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Address patient queries and concerns effectively, striving for prompt resolution and escalating complex issues when necessary. Clearly explain hospital services, procedures, and policies to patients and their families. Facilitate patient flow and manage waiting areas to optimize patient experience. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality in compliance with hospital protocols. Liaise with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth coordination of patient services. Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain financial records as needed. Demonstrate strong conversion skills by effectively communicating the value of Altor Hospitals' services. Maintain a neat, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of proven experience as a Front Desk Executive or similar role, specifically within a hospital or clinical setting. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English, Kannada, and Telugu is mandatory. Proficiency in using hospital management software and MS Office Suite. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients. Proven ability to handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
