Website: www.flipspaces.com About The Role Designation: Vice President/Assistant Vice President - Operations Job Criteria Experience: 12+ years in Operations / Project Management Industry Expertise: (Preferred): Real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects Leadership: Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects/Supply chain Education: MBA/Engineering or equivalent from top-tier institutions (e.g., IIMs, ISB, IITs, NITs) Job Description Lead the operations team in planning, executing, and delivering projects Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and resource allocation Implement risk management strategies to mitigate challenges Leverage technology-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency Collaborate with the strategy team to align operational initiatives with long-term business objectives. Role Overview Flipspaces, a leading player in the commercial interior design and build sector, is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to streamline and enhance our project execution, operational efficiency, and client delivery. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing large-scale, fast-paced operations and has extensive experience in construction or design and build services. Key Leadership Oversee end-to-end project management and execution for multiple commercial interior design projects across locations. Build and implement processes to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and enforce SOPs across project workflows, from design conceptualization to final handover. Drive operational excellence by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing innovative solutions. Project Planning & Execution Work closely with the design and project teams to plan project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Monitor the progress of projects to ensure alignment with client expectations and Delivery commitments. Implement risk management strategies to anticipate and address project-related challenges proactively. Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Vendor & Supply Chain Management Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless material procurement and timely execution. Optimize the supply chain process to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Ensure quality control of materials and services provided by third-party vendors. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of regional project heads, project managers, site supervisors, and operational staff. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify training needs and implement development programs to upskill the operations team. Client Management & Engagement Ensure a seamless client experience throughout the project execution and Post-handover phase, fostering long-term relationships. Proactively identify and address client concerns, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded in terms of quality, timelines, and budget adherence. Financial Oversight Work with the finance team to prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring profitability across all operations Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines. Maintain operational cost reports and present insights to senior management. Skills & Competencies Proven track record in managing large-scale operations Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage large teams. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage crises effectively.
