Position: Financial Consultant

📍 Location: Oman

🕒 Type: Full-time & On-site

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification or relevant experience

Qualification:

  • Semi-qualified or Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Additional certifications (CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or similar) will be an advantage

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Consultant to provide strategic financial advice, business analysis, and performance improvement insights to support informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in financial management, accounting principles, business planning, and consultancy practices, with proven experience in advising management teams on cost optimization, profitability, and financial growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Analysis

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk assessment.
  • Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to track business efficiency.

Business Advisory & Strategy

  • Advise clients or management on financial planning, business restructuring, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, business valuations, and profitability assessments for new projects or ventures.
  • Identify and recommend business process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in internal audits, risk assessments, and policy development to strengthen internal controls.

Consulting & Client Engagement (if external role)

  • Develop tailored financial solutions to meet clients’ business goals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and advisory support.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/IAS/Ind AS) and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong MS Excel and ERP system skills (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in management consulting, auditing, or corporate finance.
  • Exposure to business process, mergers & acquisitions, or financial due diligence.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Willing to relocate to Oman.
