For our Finance team (Shared Service Center India), we are looking for an experienced Financial Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team in Trek India immediately or by agreement.

Finance Assistant / Accountant 100% (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transaction Processing: Recording and tracking financial transactions, entering data into accounting systems, and processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, ledgers, and other financial documents.
Intercompany Reconciliation
Reporting & Analysis: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and budgets.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and monitoring transactions to ensure accuracy.
Administrative Support: Performing various administrative tasks, filing paperwork, and coordinating with other departments.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

Your profile:

Essential Skills:

Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring accuracy in financial data and records.
Organizational Skills: Needed to manage numerous financial documents, tasks, and deadlines.
Computer Proficiency: Competence with spreadsheets (like Microsoft Excel) and accounting software is necessary.
Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with a finance team and communicate effectively.
Analytical Skills: Aptitude for problem-solving and identifying discrepancies.
Discretion & Trustworthiness: The role involves handling confidential financial information.

Typical Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field being a strong asset.
Experience: Prior experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or an administrative role is beneficial.
Certifications: While not always mandatory, accounting certifications can be advantageous.

Languages:

Business fluent English
Basic knowledge of German is an advantage
