Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Financial Accountant to manage the financial health of our real estate operations. This role is responsible for the meticulous recording, analysis, and reporting of the company’s financial transactions on both a company-wide and project-wise basis. The Financial Accountant will ensure compliance with all Indian Accounting Standards (IAS) and internal policies, preparing accurate financial statements and crucial project-level accounting to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Records & Compliance: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records in strict accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IAS) and company policies. Statement Compilation: Compile comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow statements, for both project-level and company-level reporting. Project Cost Control: Rigorously track and reconcile all project-specific costs (including land acquisition, construction, financing, and overhead) to maintain stringent budgetary control. Analysis & Modeling: Assist in financial modeling and reporting for real estate projects, with a focus on project profitability and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses. Management Support: Support management with detailed variance analysis, financial forecasts, and timely ad-hoc financial reporting to guide operational decisions. Qualifications Experience: 2–5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates from the real estate development, construction, or related industries. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred). Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IAS), real estate accounting practices, and financial reporting principles. Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software Tally and advanced skills in MS Excel (MS Power Point preferred). Skills: Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
