Summary Of Conduct

  • Responsible for financial reporting, accounting and other day to day operational processes for the Management Company Finance team.
  • Communicate effectively and manage information with discretion.
  • Proactively support internal/external clients on a timely basis demonstrating a willingness to partner and establish strong professional relationship with all areas of KKR
  • Maintain a high level of ownership, accountability and responsibility for the assigned activities.
  • Position requires a strong foundation of accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global finance, and business teams.
  • Produce high quality work on a timely basis, that is thorough and meticulous, attending to all necessary details.
  • Embrace a team player approach working with global teams to implement value add solutions that meet the long-term goals and objectives for the Firm

Essential Functions

Management Company

  • Work closely with the local and global teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results of Management Companies in compliance with firm policies and relevant GAAP.
  • Support month end and quarter end close processes including journal entries in ledger (SAP), preparation of management reports, performing analytical reviews of financial data etc.
  • Support the calculation, allocation and accounting for revenue streams, including management fees, reimbursements, transaction fees, monitoring fee etc.
  • Assist in allocations of expenses paid on behalf of the funds and other investment vehicles.
  • Continue to execute and enhance LP based reporting for Fund transparency reporting.
  • Prepare schedules and analysis for senior management.
  • Coordinate with KKR Foreign Office Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely closing of foreign entities’ books and records.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control, ensuring adherence to different governing documents like fund agreement.
  • Seek to drive automation and enhance processes where possible. Manage the complexities of various KKR Funds, SMA’s and Strategic Partnerships and work closely with the various KKR Funds’ teams to communicate such activities.
  • Work on various strategic projects.
  • Work closely with auditors for financial statement audit requests as well as SOX requests

Skills And Attributes

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Qualified CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and accounting concepts.
  • Self-starter with goal-oriented management of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Critical thinking; excellent judgment; quick learner and able to adapt to new challenges.
  • Technology savvy with strong ability to manage process improvement and system enhancement projects.
  • Excellent analytical, and communication skills, with strong attention to details.
  • Team player capable of working in a way that reflects the Firm’s core values and principles.
  • Self-driven individual with effective prioritization and multi-tasking ability
  • Highly developed planning and organizational skills; able to anticipate change, adjust responses accordingly and initiate steps to maximize resources toward a common objective
  • Experience in a management company, private equity, or asset management environment strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced Excel skills would be an added advantage.
