Job Description

*Finance Head – CA Qualified | Steel Manufacturing & Trading Firm*

Location:* Kilpauk, Chennai
Experience:* 7–10 years
Salary:* ₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
Reporting To:* CEO / CFO

📌 *Role Overview:*As Finance Head, you’ll be the strategic financial backbone of our fast-growing steel manufacturing & trading business. You’ll oversee all financial operations — from day-to-day accounting to long-term planning — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability across the organization.✅ *Key Responsibilities:*🔹 *Financial Planning & Analysis*

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Build MIS dashboards to track KPIs, margins, and cost drivers
Support senior management with data-driven business decisions

🔹 *Accounting & Compliance*

Manage full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)
Ensure timely statutory filings (TDS, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.)
Coordinate internal & external audits with zero red flags

🔹 *Taxation & Treasury*

Handle direct & indirect tax planning & litigation support
Optimize working capital, manage cash flows, negotiate with banks
Maintain relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and regulators

🔹 *Cost Control & Profitability*

Analyze product-wise & department-wise profitability
Implement cost-saving initiatives across procurement, production, logistics
Track variances and drive corrective actions

🔹 *ERP & Systems*

Manage ERP (Tally, SAP, or similar) – ensure smooth integration across departments
Train & guide finance team on system usage & best practices

🔹 *Team Leadership*

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance & accounts team
Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of ownership

🔹 *Cross-Functional Collaboration*

Work closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, and HR for seamless business alignment
Present financial insights to Board / Management Committee regularly

🎯 *Must-Have Qualifications:*
✔️ Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)✔️ 7–10 years in manufacturing or trading sector (steel industry preferred)✔️ Proven experience managing end-to-end finance function✔️ Hands-on with Tally ERP or SAP✔️ Strong command over MS Excel (Pivot, Macros, VLOOKUPs, Dashboards)✔️ Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, FSSAI, etc.✔️ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills✔️ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines✔️ Immediate availabilityWork Location: Kilpauk, Chennai.Immediate joiners are preferred.For more details contact us at 9176033506/9791033506.Skills: management,leadership,dashboards,tax,ca,finance,accounting,income tax,trading,steel,manufacturing
