Finance Executive

A Finance Executive in a hotel is responsible for managing the daily accounting operations, including handling invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and maintaining accurate records of cash and bank transactions. The role involves coordinating with the Front Office and F&B departments to reconcile daily revenue and support the night audit process by verifying reports, discounts, voids, and resolving variances. The Finance Executive also manages vendor payments by verifying bills, maintaining vendor statements, and ensuring timely settlement of dues.

The position further includes assisting in payroll preparation, employee reimbursements, and supporting statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, PF, and ESI in coordination with the Finance Manager. The Finance Executive prepares monthly MIS reports, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributes to month-end and year-end financial closures. Additionally, the role requires coordination with the Stores and F&B teams for inventory verification, monitoring material consumption, and ensuring accurate cost control.

The Finance Executive must maintain all necessary documentation for internal and statutory audits and ensure full compliance with hotel finance SOPs and policies. The ideal candidate should have a commerce or finance degree, relevant experience in hotel accounting, good knowledge of PMS/POS systems, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with integrity and professionalism.
