With a strong presence in the FMCG sector and an expanding market footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Controller to strengthen our financial governance and support our strategic growth initiatives. Job Summary: As Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. You will lead all financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions, with a deep understanding of cost structures and financial dynamics specific to dairy and FMCG manufacturing. You will play a key role in supporting the leadership team with data-driven insights and strategic financial guidance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed analysis of raw material costs, production overheads, and distribution expenses. Monitor inventory, wastage, and product margins to ensure cost efficiency across the dairy and ice cream product lines. Lead cost accounting, including analysis of per-unit cost of production, factory overheads, and plant performance metrics. Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings, GST compliance, and coordination with tax consultants. Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to protect company assets and ensure financial accuracy. Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies for audits, funding, and statutory compliance. Support CAPEX planning and financial evaluations of new product lines, plants, or cold chain infrastructure investments. Supervise a team of accountants and finance staff; provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation. Preferred Attributes: Hands-on experience in managing finances for high-volume, perishable goods manufacturing. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams. Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
