Field Sales Executive (FMCG)

About the RoleYou’ll drive secondary sales and retailer growth for ElasticRun’s FMCG distribution network in your assigned territory. The role is field-heavy: onboarding kirana/retail outlets, capturing orders on the app, ensuring availability, visibility, and on-time collections.
Key ResponsibilitiesRetailer Acquisition & Activation: Identify, pitch, and onboard kirana & small-format stores; complete KYC and first order.
Beat Planning & Coverage: Execute daily route plans; maintain optimal visit frequency and coverage efficiency.
Order Capture & Growth: Collect orders using the mobile app; upsell new SKUs, drive basket size and repeat rate.
Visibility & Merchandising: Ensure planogram adherence, POSM deployment, and stock availability.
Collections & Reconciliations: Support on-time collections/UPI settlement; resolve returns and disputes.
Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, schemes, and new launches; share insights weekly.
Relationship Management: Build strong retailer relationships; handle service issues and retention.
Reporting: Submit daily MIS (visits, orders, value, issues) via the app/CRM.
Must-Haves1–3 years of field sales experience in FMCG/General Trade or strong fresher with sales internship/on-ground exposure.
Smartphone proficiency (Android), basic Excel/Google Sheets; comfort using sales/order apps.
Two-wheeler with valid DL; willing to travel extensively within beat.
Local language fluency and strong interpersonal & negotiation skills.
Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
Knowledge of local geography, kirana ecosystem, and distributor/retailer dynamics.
Good to HavePrior experience with rural/Deep Bharat distribution.
Exposure to DMS/CRM (e.g., order capture apps), merchandising basics.
Track record of beating monthly sales targets.
