Job Description

As an experienced Operations professional with over 2 years of experience in Hostel, Hotel, Co-living, or Property Management sectors, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations across multiple hostels/properties. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing smooth check-in/check-out processes and ensuring a positive tenant experience. - Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and performance management for housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams. - Conducting regular site visits and inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and compliance standards. - Acting as the primary point of contact between tenants, hostel management, and institutions for seamless communication. - Handling tenant queries, complaints, and escalations effectively to provide timely resolutions. - Coordinating with vendors and service providers for hostel supplies, maintenance, and food services. - Monitoring rent collection, tracking pending dues, and ensuring accurate occupancy records. - Preparing operational reports, cost analysis, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for management review. - Implementing cost-control measures, improving efficiency, and maximizing occupancy. - Ensuring compliance with hostel rules, safety protocols, and emergency handling procedures. - Collaborating with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance) to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. - Driving continuous improvement in field operations to support business expansion and scalability. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in hostel, hotel, co-living, or property operations. - Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work on-ground, travel across properties, and handle escalations under pressure. - Proficiency in MS Office and operational management tools/software. - Strong communication, organizational, and vendor management abilities. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring in-person work at locations in Trivandrum, Kochi, and Thrissur.,
