Job Overview: The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager plays a crucial role in the hotel industry by overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations. This includes managing restaurants, bars, room service, and catering services, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction while driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management: - Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets to ensure high-quality service and adherence to hotel standards. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage service. 2. Menu Planning and Development: - Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative and diverse menus that cater to guest preferences and seasonal trends. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service. 3. Financial Oversight: - Prepare and manage the annual budget for food and beverage operations, tracking costs and revenues. - Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to control food and beverage costs. 4. Staff Management and Training: - Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and adherence to service standards. - Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members. 5. Guest Satisfaction: - Interact with guests to gather feedback and address any concerns related to food and beverage service. - Ensure that all guest experiences are positive and exceed expectations by proactively implementing improvements based on guest feedback. 6. Marketing and Promotions: - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote special events, themed nights, and seasonal menus. - Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for enhancing the hotel's F&B offerings. 7. Collaboration with Other Departments: - Work closely with the sales and catering teams to manage banquets, weddings, and other events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction. - Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of F&B venues. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field. - Proven experience as an F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in the hotel or restaurant industry. - Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional customer service and communication abilities. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards. - Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
