Serving over 2,500 clients from startups to multinational corporations, it delivers scalable, high-quality work environments Job Description Production & Operations Management Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met. Implement lean manufacturing to improve workflows and reduce waste. Coordinate with design and engineering for product manufacturability. Ensure smooth collaboration among carpentry, machining, assembly, and finishing teams. Quality Assurance Establish quality control processes meeting industry standards and certifications (ISO 9001, BIFMA). Address quality issues promptly to avoid production delays. Supply Chain & Inventory Management Work with procurement to ensure raw materials availability. Use inventory control systems like barcode, FIFO, and Kanban. Maintain accurate inventory via audits. Coordinate logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods. Maintenance & Infrastructure Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery. Oversee service contracts, spares, and emergency protocols. Maintain utilities and facility infrastructure. Coordinate with OEMs for major repairs. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions. Promote a safe workplace through training. Budgeting & Cost Control Develop and manage operational budgets. Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Monitor expenses to meet financial goals. The Successful Applicant Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is advantageous. Experience: 10+ years in furniture manufacturing operations, including 3-5 years in leadership roles. Demonstrated success in managing manufacturing units. Experience with modular furniture production preferred. Skills: Expertise in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Knowledge of ERP and production management software. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
