Job Title: Fabric Sourcing Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate the sourcing, development, and procurement of woven fabrics as per buyer requirements, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost effectiveness. The Fabric Manager acts as the key link between suppliers, merchandising, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and manage fabric suppliers (mills, traders, and converters) for woven fabrics.
• Source and develop new fabric qualities, constructions, and finishes based on buyer and design requirements.
• Negotiate price, lead time, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Monitor and ensure fabric delivery timelines as per production schedules.
• Work closely with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure smooth fabric coordination.
• Evaluate and approve fabric quality, shade, GSM, and performance parameters through lab dips and test reports.
• Coordinate with QA and testing labs for required quality certifications and compliance checks.
• Maintain fabric sourcing tracker, vendor database, and regular supplier performance reviews.
• Address and resolve any fabric quality or delay issues with suppliers.
• Stay updated with market trends, fabric innovations, and seasonal developments relevant to the woven segment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology / Garment Manufacturing / Fashion Technology.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in fabric sourcing and management for woven garments.
• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, processing, dyeing, and finishing techniques.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with supplier management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
