Urgently Required Export Manager (Grocery industry)

We are urgently seeking an experienced and proactive Export Manager to oversee and manage all export operations for our food and grocery product range, including RTE, frozen, and staples. The candidate must have strong knowledge of international trade laws, documentation, logistics coordination, and government export project procedures. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth container planning, global market expansion, and compliance with international regulations.

✅ Strategic Planning & Market Development

• Develop and implement robust export strategies targeting new international markets.
• Identify, analyse, and pursue export opportunities in new regions.
• Create export business plans and participate in international trade agreements.

✅ Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure complete compliance with all international export regulations, including customs, tariffs, and documentation.
• Execute restricted party screenings and comply with export control regulations.
• Keep updated with and apply global trade agreements.

✅ Export Logistics & Operations

• Plan and oversee global container shipments (air, sea, and land).
• Manage warehousing, transportation, and international distribution networks.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs (Custom House Agents), customs brokers, and logistic partners globally.

✅ Documentation & Administration

• Prepare and maintain accurate export/Import documentation such as:
• Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, COO, FSSAI, Phytosanitary Certificates, etc.
• Knowledge of documentation for government and institutional exports in the grocery sector (RTE/Frozen/Staples).
• Maintain updated and accurate export records for audit and compliance.

✅ Customer Relationship & Support

• Build strong professional relationships with international importers and distributors.
• Resolve shipment-related queries and ensure timely communication.
• Provide end-to-end support to international partners.

✅ Cost Management & Budgeting

• Prepare and manage export operation budgets.
• Monitor costs associated with shipping, documentation, and logistics.
• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers for favorable terms.

✅ Team Coordination

• Collaborate with internal departments like Sales, Finance, Product, Packaging, and Warehouse to ensure smooth export processes.
• Coordinate production schedules with container loading and dispatch plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Any Graduate with Export/Import background & relevant experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in export operations for the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of global export-import documentation and CHA procedures.
• Familiarity with government export schemes/projects related to the food/grocery segment. In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Export ERP systems, and logistics management tools.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience dealing with exports of Ready-to-Eat, Frozen, and Organic grocery products.
• Experience working with export promotion councils and global exhibitions.
• Knowledge of shipping portals and government portals (DGFT, ICEGATE, FIEO, APEDA etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
