Job Description

Responsibilities:

Negotiate freight charges with transporter trucking companies, & courier partners to ensure the best possible rates and service quality, Track shipments, Plan & coordinate truck shipments for inbound & outbound logistics based on dispatch schedules
Plan and manage the movement of raw materials (yarn, fabric, dyes, trims) to production units and finished goods to buyers.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transporters for timely import/export shipments.
Monitor warehouse operations for proper storage, handling, and dispatch of textile goods.
Ensure compliance with export documentation (packing lists, invoices, LC documents, shipping bills) as per buyer and customs requirements.
Track and follow up on cargo movement (sea, air, road) to ensure on-time delivery to buyers worldwide.
Work closely with production, merchandising, and procurement teams to align logistics with production schedules.
Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock movements between warehouses and production units.
Optimize transportation costs while maintaining quality and timely delivery standards.
Handle buyer audits, vendor compliance, and logistics reporting for management review.
Resolve any logistics-related issues such as shipment delays, customs clearance problems, or damage claims.
