Position: Supply Chain Executive
Summary:
The Supply Chain Executive is a critical driver of operational excellence within the organization, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain functions including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution. This role ensures the timely availability of materials to support production and sales objectives while maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering strong vendor partnerships. By aligning supply chain activities with business goals, the executive enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and strengthens supply chain resilience. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement, with a strong commitment to compliance, accuracy, and on-time delivery across all stages of the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Monitor material requirements and ensure timely procurement to support production and sales plans
- Manage vendor relationships through order placement, follow-ups, performance tracking, and evaluations
- Track inventory levels, optimize stock availability, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Collaborate with warehouses, transportation providers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain documentation, reports, and MIS dashboards
- Support demand forecasting and supply planning in close coordination with sales and operations teams
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Handle import/export coordination, including documentation and logistics follow-up, where applicable
Requirements Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or store operations
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively across functions with sales, operations, and logistics teams
- Detail - oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to process compliance
- Experience in demand planning and supply coordination is highly desirable
