Executive / Sr. Executive - Logistics

Job Overview-

This role requires collaboration with suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure the efficient end-to-end movement of goods.

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including dispatch, transportation, and delivery.
• Co-ordinate with overseas Principles for import related operations.
• Prepare and process necessary shipping and import documentation and process
• Track shipments and update internal systems with delivery status.
• Liaise with vendors, transporters, and freight forwarders for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain shipment records, delivery notes, and dispatch registers accurately.
• Ensure proper documentation for compliance with GST, customs, and safety regulations.
• Co-ordinate with sales, stores, and customer service teams to ensure fulfillment schedules.
• Resolve any logistics issues or delays in transit proactively.
• Ensure cost optimization by monitoring freight costs and suggesting improvements.

Required Skill:

• Minimum 5 - 10 years related work experience preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics functions with an organization actively engaged with both Distributors and large direct accounts
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and logistics practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Tally
• Familiarity with Permits, liaisons and transport documentation
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle multiple shipments and tight timelines
• Flexibility with last minute changes.

Job Location : Nariman Point

Office Timings : Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.30 pm.

Saturday 9.00 am - 1.00 pm (Alternate Saturdays Off.)
