Job Overview- This role requires collaboration with suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure the efficient end-to-end movement of goods. Job Description: Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including dispatch, transportation, and delivery. Co-ordinate with overseas Principles for import related operations. Prepare and process necessary shipping and import documentation and process Track shipments and update internal systems with delivery status. Liaise with vendors, transporters, and freight forwarders for timely pickups and deliveries. Maintain shipment records, delivery notes, and dispatch registers accurately. Ensure proper documentation for compliance with GST, customs, and safety regulations. Co-ordinate with sales, stores, and customer service teams to ensure fulfillment schedules. Resolve any logistics issues or delays in transit proactively. Ensure cost optimization by monitoring freight costs and suggesting improvements. Required Skill: Minimum 5 - 10 years related work experience preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics functions with an organization actively engaged with both Distributors and large direct accounts Strong organizational and coordination skills Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and logistics practices Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Tally Familiarity with Permits, liaisons and transport documentation Good communication and negotiation skills Ability to handle multiple shipments and tight timelines Flexibility with last minute changes.
