Job Description

ETL Developer

Location: Mohali
Experience: 2–5 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ETL Developer who can design, develop, test, and maintain ETL pipelines to support data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with ETL tools and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation & loading.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical ETL solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, data quality, and performance optimization of ETL pipelines.
Schedule and monitor ETL jobs; troubleshoot failures and performance bottlenecks.
Work with Data Warehouse / BI teams to deliver data for reporting and analytics.
Create technical documentation including mappings, workflows, and data lineage.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and resolve issues efficiently.
Perform unit testing, data validation, and root cause analysis for data-related problems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in ETL development using tools like Informatica / Talend / SSIS / DataStage / Pentaho, etc.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake, SCD, Fact & Dimension tables).
Experience with performance tuning and debugging ETL processes.
Understanding of job scheduling tools like Control-M / Airflow (added advantage).
