🔹 Job Purpose

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, quotations, and project material calculations for uPVC windows & doors. This role ensures precise measurements, correct profile selection, and cost optimization to support sales and project execution.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Site Measurement & Technical Analysis

• Visit customer sites to take precise measurements.
• Identify window/door types, opening styles, mesh requirements, and hardware needs.
• Prepare measurement sheets and technical drawings if required.

2. Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation

• Prepare detailed BOQs based on site measurements.
• Calculate material quantities: uPVC profiles, hardware, glass, mesh, reinforcement, accessories.
• Estimate labour cost, fabrication cost, transportation cost, and installation cost.
• Prepare cutting lists for fabrication teams.

3. Quotation Preparation

• Prepare accurate quotations based on BOQ and pricing structure.
• Ensure correct pricing of profiles, hardware, accessories, glass, and services.
• Revise quotations based on customer changes or sales feedback.

4. Coordination with Sales & Production

• Support sales team with technical inputs during customer discussions.
• Coordinate with factory team for material planning and cutting schedules.
• Monitor cost impact due to design modifications or customer changes.

5. Vendor & Material Knowledge

• Maintain updated knowledge of profile systems, hardware brands, and glass specifications.
• Understand cost variations and ensure optimal material utilization.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain estimation sheets, BOQs, and costing records.
• Submit daily estimation reports to management.
• Ensure accuracy and zero deviation between BOQ and production.

🔹 Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong knowledge of 

  uPVC window systems, profiles, reinforcement & hardware

• Proficiency in 

  measurements, BOQ, and cost estimation

• Basic understanding of 

  AutoCAD / Excel / Estimation Software

• Good mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to read architectural drawings & elevation plans
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills (English/Hindi/Telugu depending on region)

🔹 Experience

• 1–5 years in 

  uPVC/Aluminium windows & doors estimation

  , fabrication, or technical sales.
• Freshers with technical knowledge can also apply (optional).
