Position: Estimator (Structural Steel Projects) Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 11:00 AM 8:30 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our growing engineering and estimation team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and bid proposals for light gauge steel framing (LGSF) and structural steel projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, material specifications, and estimation tools/software. Key Responsibilities: Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare material quantity take-offs (QTOs). Generate cost estimates for steel framing, roofing, trusses, and associated construction elements. Prepare detailed project quotations and assist in bid proposal documentation. Coordinate with engineers, drafters, and project managers to clarify scope and design intent. Maintain updated price databases for materials, fabrication, and logistics. Work with U.S. teams to align estimates with current market trends and labor costs. Analyze project feasibility, timelines, and profitability margins. Utilize estimation software and Excel-based templates for accurate calculations. Support revisions in estimates based on client feedback or design modifications. Maintain version control and documentation for all estimates and submissions.
