What You'll Actually Do Own the Complete Client Relationship Manage 8 to 12 Australian clients as their dedicated success manager. Provide daily proactive updates on all active jobs through dashboards, email, and calls. Respond to client queries promptly during Australian business hours (9 am to 5 pm AEDT). Coordinate seamlessly between clients and estimating teams to ensure quality and deadlines are met. Be the Face of Transparency Maintain project dashboards with daily progress screenshots and clear status updates. Conduct video calls and walk clients through estimates via screen share. Anticipate questions and solve issues before clients need to ask. Turn delays, risks, or challenges into trust-building moments with exceptional communication. Drive Client Success and Growth Guide clients through onboarding to long-term partnership. Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts. Role Overview Note : Open for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering Degree holders. This is a full-time office-based role for Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and Construction Professionals at D&C Estimate in Pune of varying experience. Responsibilities include cost control, creating bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role entails working closely with the team to ensure accurate and detailed estimations for various construction projects across residential and commercial spaces. General Required Skills & Qualifications Reading and interpreting Australian construction drawings and knowledge of standards Cost control, cost management, and cost reporting skills. Proficiency in creating Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Experience in cost planning and analysis. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management , or a related field. Site experience will be considered favorably. Candidates with experience in UK, USA and Australia/NZ markets will be preferred. Skills in using estimating software are essential, but training is available. Core Estimating Responsibilities Review architectural, structural, civil, and services drawings to identify project scope, risks, and clarifications. Perform detailed quantity take-offs across multiple trades using Bluebeam or similar software. Prepare accurate BOQs, rate build-ups, and tender submissions aligned with Australian construction standards. Identify design gaps, missing information, and inconsistencies, and raise RFIs where required. Conduct internal QA reviews of junior estimators' work and provide constructive feedback. Ensure accuracy of measurements, descriptions, and breakdowns before client submission. Client Management & Communication Communicate professionally with clients to understand scope, changes, and expectations. Convert client feedback into clear SOPs or workflow instructions for the internal team. Manage client clarifications, variations, and updates throughout the tendering process. Build trust through timely follow-ups, consistent quality, and proactive problem-solving. Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear, concise, and confident communication. Technical & Process Ownership Support development and refinement of internal processes, templates, and SOPs. Assist in training junior estimators and upskilling the team where needed. Ensure all estimates follow internal QA standards, naming conventions, and document control systems. Adopt and experiment with automation tools or Power Automate workflows as a bonus capability. Manage workload independently, meet deadlines, and escalate risks early. Contribution to D&C Estimate's Growth Take ownership of work quality and ensure outputs are client-ready with minimal revisions. Represent D&C Estimate's values through high standards, reliability, and continuous improvement. Suggest improvements to processes, templates, and client delivery workflows.
