Job Summary: The Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment in the plant by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards. This role involves developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with other departments to promote a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct risk assessments: Identify potential hazards and assess risks in the plant. 2. Develop safety protocols: Create and implement safety procedures and guidelines to mitigate risks. 3. Implement safety training: Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols. 4. Conduct safety audits: Regularly inspect the plant to identify potential safety hazards. 5. Investigate incidents: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. 6. Collaborate with departments: Work with other departments to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 7. Maintain safety records: Keep accurate records of safety incidents, training, and audits. Leads safety toolbox talks and enforces permit compliance. Coordinates billing, measurements, labor tracking, and reporting. Updates and maintains as-built documentation. Reviews and signs all official documentation, permits, and reports related to site activities.
