Responsibilities

Engineering Manager’s from Water Sector


Locations : Chennai/ Noida/ Pune


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engineering Leadership & Delivery:

  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions by reviewing and approving engineering schedules and MIS reports.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex engineering challenges, providing guidance and additional resources as needed.
  • Ensure that the engineering process aligns with project timelines and delivers high-quality designs that meet specifications.

2.Engineering Quality & Process Improvement:

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for design and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Promote and implement risk and value engineering practices to achieve cost-effective designs.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of engineering processes through standardization, automation, and knowledge sharing across disciplines.

3.Team Development & Motivation:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Establish measurable goals for team members and conduct performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify training and development needs, providing mentoring and coaching to support career growth and skill enhancement.

4.Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (projects, planning, procurement, QC, construction, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and timely execution of engineering tasks.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure engineering requirements are met and issues are addressed.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields).
  • Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong background in managing engineering teams, project schedules, and deliverables.
  • Expertise in engineering design, quality control, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire teams.
