Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous technical leadership, participate in architectural design discussions, and ensure adherence to best coding and quality standards.
• Lead multiple backend teams through the entire SDLC with ownership of delivery scope, timelines, and quality.
• Architect, design, and optimize backend solutions built on

  Node.js

  ,

  Python (FastAPI/Flask)

  ,

  microservices

  , and

  AI-enabled systems

  .
• Integrate

  AI and machine learning models

  into products to improve decision-making, automation, and performance.
• Drive

  Agile

  best practices — sprint planning, retrospectives, and transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Manage project progress, risks, and deliverables using structured reporting and modern DevOps tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, UI/UX, QA, Product) to ensure seamless delivery.
• Mentor engineers, encourage innovation, and build a culture of technical excellence and learning.
• Partner with other engineering leads to align technology vision, scalability, and AI-driven architecture improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using

  Node.js

  and

  Python

• 5+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
• Strong understanding of

  microservices

  REST APIs

  asynchronous architecture

• Experience with databases (
