QA Engineer

JOB TITLE: QA

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, creating test cases, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key roles:

· Quality Gatekeeper: Ensures that the product meets defined quality standards before release

· Risk Mitigator: Identifies, documents, and helps resolve defects early to reduce risk.

· Documentation Contributor: Maintains comprehensive test documentation for accountability and traceability.

Key responsibilities:

· Requirement Analysis.

· Test Planning.

· Test Case design & development.

· Test Execution.

· Test Documentation.

· Bug Tracking and reporting.

· Continuous Learning and Process Improvement.

· Automation (If any).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with performance or security testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
