QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at Sevilla Case, your role involves ensuring testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs within your domain. You will be responsible for: - Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products for expected functional performance - Investigating instances where software and technical products do not meet expected performance - Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities - Driving the adoption of recognized best practices and policies while contributing to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets - Working with counterparts across the business to enhance the standard of QA - Recording defects and collating metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes - Testing disciplines including Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, and Testing Products You will be involved in the Software Development Lifecycle, analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, developing test automation features, and continuously improving software testing. Your key responsibilities include: - Creating test cases, developing test automation features, and executing test activities on different environments - Developing high-quality automated test solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements - Actively participating in sprint activities and ceremonies such as daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, and refinements - Collaborating with team members to achieve sprint objectives Your skills and experience should include: - Strong experience in requirements analysis for test case creation and test execution using tools like Karata API Automation framework, Postman, Performance Centre, SQL developer, Quality Centre/ALM, Confluence, and Jira - Proficiency in REST API, JSON, XML - Pro-active team player with strong communication and English language skills - Experience in Agile/SCRUM environment, agile tooling, methodology, and knowledge of cards - Bachelor's degree in IT or data evaluation, or equivalent professional experience - Experience in JAVA, Selenium & Rest Assured tool The company offers a range of benefits including a best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, childcare assistance, sponsorship for relevant certifications, employee assistance program, comprehensive insurance coverage, and health screening for individuals above 35 years.
