What will you be doing here?

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers.
• Oversee the execution of engineering projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget goals are met.
• Drive engineering best practices, architecture decisions, and code quality standards.
• Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and career development support.
• Participate in hiring processes to attract and retain top engineering talent.
• Stay current with industry trends and advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies that improve team productivity and code quality.

Requirement

• 8+ years of backend software development experience, with strong expertise in Python and Django.
• B.tech in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of people management or technical leadership experience
• Solid hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.
• Proven success managing projects in an agile environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup or scale-up environment
