Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong fintech product experience to lead our engineering function and drive secure, scalable financial technology solutions. You will manage a growing team, collaborate closely with Product, and ensure compliance with industry-grade security and regulatory standards while shipping high-impact features.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach & grow a team of high-performing engineers in a fintech product environment
• Own delivery of secure, compliant product features from ideation to production
• Work with Product, Compliance & Security teams to understand regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, PCI-DSS, Data Privacy, etc.)
• Architect scalable systems for payments, identity, risk scoring, transaction management, etc.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, observability, automation & documentation
• Define sprint goals, track productivity, and remove operational blockers
• Drive DevSecOps culture, continuous delivery, zero-downtime deployments
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist in technical hiring & resource planning
• Ensure system uptime, reliability & resilience for financial transactions

Requirements

• Good communication is must.
• 6+ years total engineering experience, with 3+ years leading teams
• Strong background in backend or full-stack development (Java, Node.js, Go, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with

  financial data

  systems, payments, or banking APIs
• Working knowledge of

  cloud platforms

  (AWS / GCP / Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with industry compliance frameworks (KYC/AML, ISO 27001, PCI)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to make data-driven decisions in fast-moving fintech environments
