Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the key technical liaison for customer and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment on technical deliverables and expectations.
Articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership & Technical Guidance:
Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship on complex technical challenges.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the engineering team.
Technical Implementation & Problem Solving:
Actively engage in technical implementation and problem-solving across projects.
Take ownership of resolving complex engineering challenges and develop scalable solutions.
Technology Exploration & Adoption:
Continuously explore and assess new technologies that can enhance engineering efforts and support business goals.
Guide the engineering team through adopting cutting-edge technologies and building solutions around them.
Enhance Technical Quality:
Enhance overall technical quality at [Company Name], ensuring high standards of performance, security, and code quality.
Implement best practices and drive process optimizations across engineering functions.
Process Optimization & Best Practices:
Evaluate existing engineering processes and introduce optimizations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Ensure best practices are followed in software engineering, design, and development.
Collaboration with Delivery Team:
Work closely with the delivery team to ensure seamless development, implementation, and support for client projects.
Ensure the team’s work aligns with project goals and timelines.
Performance & Security:
Lead efforts to enhance software performance and optimize code for scalability and efficiency.
Oversee security aspects of engineering projects and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Architecture Design & Implementation:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture for new solutions and services.
Develop and execute architecture implementation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
AI Tools Implementation, AI-Driven Development & Documentation:
Lead the implementation of AI tools and technologies, driving innovation and improving the overall engineering process.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and incorporate them into our solutions.
Lead AI-driven development initiatives, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Stay at the forefront of AI developments and lead the implementation of AI-based solutions.
Strategic Thinking:
Think strategically about technology trends and their impact on the company’s long-term goals.
Help define the future technical direction of the organization through innovation and forward-thinking leadership.
Training & Development:
Design and implement training programs for engineers to build expertise in emerging technologies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence through mentorship and coaching.
Performance Metrics:
Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering productivity, quality, and project success.
Ensure the engineering team meets performance goals while maintaining high standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
Drive alignment between engineering and other departments to deliver on strategic goals.
Innovation & Research:
Lead the innovation and research efforts within the engineering team, ensuring that new technologies are explored and evaluated.
Develop and lead proof-of-concept (POC) projects to showcase new technological capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (15+ years) as an Engineering Manager or similar technical leadership role, overseeing engineering teams.
Technical Skills:

Expertise in Dot Net Core, Java, Angular, React, Python, Cloud platforms, AI/ML, etc.
Strong experience with architectural design, software development lifecycles, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Highly skilled in leading and managing engineering teams, providing technical leadership, and driving excellence.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities through training and coaching.
Problem-Solving & Innovation:

Strong problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving complex technical issues.
A proven track record of building innovative solutions and driving technical R&D initiatives.
Strategic Vision:
A strategic thinker with the ability to align technology decisions with business goals.
Ability to manage long-term vision while executing on short-term technical objectives.
Communication & Stakeholder Alignment:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across teams and with senior leadership.
Performance & Compliance:
Experience with performance enhancement, security, and compliance across engineering projects.
Knowledgeable in best practices for developing secure, high-performance solutions.

Known for thought leadership in the industry, regularly contributing to discussions on technology trends and best practices.
Respected among peers for collaborative leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen.
