Engineering Manager

You should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, out of which at least 5 years should have been in a leadership role. Your technical expertise should include Java, Microservices architecture, AWS cloud platform, AI, and the Angular framework. It is essential to have a strong background in developing scalable and distributed systems using technologies like Spring boot (including Spring Core, AOP, Transactions, Data, Security), Cassandra, Kubernetes (K8s), Kafka, Docker, and others. You must be well-versed in security best practices and protocols such as SSL/TLS and OAuth. Hands-on experience in Architecture and Design patterns is required, along with a good understanding of industry-leading guidelines and processes for building enterprise products and components. A successful track record in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams is crucial. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are a must. You should be capable of mentoring and coaching team members to help them enhance their technical and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are highly valued, along with experience in Agile development methodologies. Effective prioritization and multitasking abilities are essential for this role. Experience in developing and scaling software applications, recruiting, and hiring top-tier engineering talent are also key requirements. The ability to collaborate efficiently in a cross-functional team environment is necessary to succeed in this position.
