Performance Testing: Develop and execute performance and load tests to ensure the platform can handle peak traffic scenarios. Test Strategy: Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure coverage of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing. Monitoring and Reporting: Identify defects, report issues, and track their resolution using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Tool Optimization: Research, evaluate, and recommend tools or frameworks to enhance the testing process. Production Readiness: Collaborate on release readiness processes to ensure the stability and reliability of new features. Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#). Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress. Strong understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and principles (REST, SOAP). Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Domain Expertise: Prior experience in eCommerce or marketplace platforms is highly desirable.
