The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carbon project development, waste-to-energy systems, recycling and plastic recovery initiatives, and GHG emission reductions.
· Lead and provide technical guidance for projects in energy, waste, and plastic management sectors.
· Design and implement carbon and plastic credit projects compliant with recognized carbon standards (VCS, GS, Plastic Credit Protocols, ORMEX, etc.).
· Prepare, review, and validate project documentation — including methodologies, PDDs, monitoring reports, and verification reports.
· Support credit release processes by liaising with relevant certification and registry bodies.
· Plan, implement, and manage multiple EWP projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
· Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
· Utilize tools for emission quantification, waste flow assessment, and plastic recovery analysis.
· Ensure accurate data collection, monitoring, and reporting in line with carbon and plastic credit methodologies.
· Support use of geospatial and analytical tools for project monitoring and documentation.
· Develop partnerships with waste management companies, recyclers, plastic producers, and energy recovery entities.
· Liaise with verification bodies, certification agencies, and international standard organizations.
· Represent Compliance Kart at conferences, workshops, and forums related to energy, waste, and carbon credits.
· Stay updated on advancements in carbon and plastic credit methodologies and relevant sectoral innovations.
· Contribute to developing innovative credit generation models and practical sustainability solutions.
· Publish technical papers and case studies where applicable.
Master’s degree or PhD in Environmental Science, Engineering, Climate Change, Waste Management, or a related field.
· Minimum 8+ years of experience with minimum 3 successful registered projects in carbon or plastic credits in the energy waste and plastic management sectors.
· Proven track record of successful project design, validation, and credit issuance.
· In-depth understanding of carbon credit standards (VCS, GS, ORMEX) and plastic credit (PCX, Verra) frameworks.
· Excellent understanding of GHG accounting, waste management systems, and circular economy practices.
· Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
· Proficiency in relevant analytical tools and reporting software.
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
