About the Role
We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join our team, embedded in our client’s Enterprise Security & Preparedness function. You will be responsible for researching, analysing, and building products to assess risks and opportunities around the client’s people, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. You will be an intelligence practitioner who has a passion for analysis, problem-solving, advising and informing decision-makers. This role works directly with the client and reports to the Embedded Operations Manager.In this role, you would be instrumental in developing finished intelligence products for the APAC region, used to inform the client’s business decision makers. In addition, you will engage directly with stakeholders within the client organisation to interpret their requirements, provide immediate support and consulting, and leverage in-depth support from the core Sibylline team.This is a full-time role working
5 days a week in the office
in Pune, India.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global events, emerging threats, and market developments that could disrupt manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain networks
- Produce forward-looking assessments of geopolitical risks, including sanctions, conflict, regulatory changes, and political unrest
- Develop tailored intelligence reports with strategic insight on various geopolitical topics, and have a sharp enthusiasm for corporate security, analysis and problem-solving
- Identify and assess risks such as geopolitical instability, trade policy changes, and natural disasters
- Collect intelligence information and track threats and geopolitical developments that directly or indirectly affect the client’s assets, people, and interests globally.
- Conduct pre-travel risk assessments for employees travelling internationally, including threat environment, health considerations, and local security conditions
- Utilise OSINT, subscription intelligence platforms, and internal data sources to monitor and assess risk
- Maintain and improve intelligence databases, watchlists, and reporting templates
- Gather social media analysis and proactively monitor, research and alert around changing trends or potential impact on the client
Requirements
- BA degree in International Relations or similar
- Existing authorisation to live and work in India
- Fluent in English (minimum qualification), Mandarin (preferred qualification)
- Ability to work in the client’s office, 5 days a week
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in corporate intelligence or in related fields
- Strong analytical, oral, and written presentation skills, including the ability to deliver communications centred on the target audience
- Ability to produce quality finished intelligence products for short deadlines, as well as continuing to maintain analysis for and report on long-term strategic assessments
- Knowledge of specific regional dynamics, including geopolitical, security, and social situations, is essential
- Willingness to innovate and introduce new ideas, and an understanding of differences in standards and culture across various geographies
- Ability to remain flexible, with demonstrated ability to conduct intelligence gathering and investigations with little to no direct supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Have high level of integrity and initiative
- Excellent research skills, and ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and “sift” large quantities of information
