Role Overview

Email Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Email Automation & Workflow Development

  • Build and optimize advanced automation flows within

    HubSpot

    and

    Zoho Campaigns

    .

  • Create lifecycle email sequences such as welcome flows, lead nurturing, onboarding, re-engagement, and drip campaigns.

  • Implement automated follow-ups and triggered messages based on behavior, lead score, engagement, or CRM activity.


2. CRM & Platform Management

  • Manage segmentation, lists, workflows, pipelines, and integrations in

    HubSpot CRM

    and

    Zoho Campaigns

    .

  • Ensure accurate data sync between CRM and outbound platforms (HubSpot/Zoho ↔ Apollo.io).

  • Maintain list hygiene, compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and deliverability best practices.


3. AI-Driven Segmentation & Personalization

  • Develop AI-powered segmentation models based on industry, persona, engagement, and predictive analytics.

  • Implement dynamic personalization and behavioral targeting to increase relevance and conversions.

  • Leverage machine learning insights to continually enhance campaign performance and audience targeting.


4. Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Deploy automated email campaigns and nurture sequences across HubSpot and Zoho Campaigns.

  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, offers, and segmentation logic.

  • Analyze performance data (open rates, CTR, conversions, retention) and iterate for improvement.

  • 5. Outbound Sequences & Sales Enablement (Apollo.io)

    • Build and optimize outbound email sequences and cadences for sales teams using

      Apollo.io

      .

    • Ensure alignment between marketing automation flows and sales outreach.

    • Support lead qualification, scoring, and pipeline enrichment through integrated workflows.


    6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with sales, creative, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging.

    • Align automated marketing and outbound strategies with broader business goals.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Proven hands-on experience with

      HubSpot

      ,

      Zoho Campaigns

      , and

      Apollo.io

      .

    • Expertise in designing automated follow-ups, workflows, and lifecycle campaigns.

    • Strong understanding of

      AI-based segmentation

      and predictive targeting.

    • Ability to build automation for both

      B2B and B2C

      funnels.

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on campaign data.

    • Knowledge of deliverability, compliance, and list management best practices.

    • Strong communication and project management skills.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in  eCommerce, or lead-generation funnels.

    • Familiarity with API integrations, event triggers, and advanced CRM workflows.

    • Background in lead scoring, enrichment, or lifecycle marketing.
