Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the assembly and erection of industrial electrical panels in accordance with engineering designs and safety protocols. Oversee wiring, component installation, and system integration, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (IEC/NFPA/IS codes). Collaborate with embedded system engineers to integrate PLCs, HMIs, controllers, and other control systems into panel designs. Review technical drawings, wiring schematics, and component specifications; provide input for design improvements. Conduct quality inspections and functional testing of electrical panels and embedded systems before commissioning. Resolve technical issues during build, testing, or site installation, and guide team members through root-cause analysis and solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, project management, and procurement for timely project delivery. Support embedded control-related project execution, including communication with vendors and handling on-site commissioning when needed. Maintain and enforce safety and housekeeping standards at workstations and testing areas. Train and mentor junior technicians and panel builders on technical procedures and safety practices. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related field. 4–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial control panel assembly and project execution. Sound knowledge of electrical components, wiring layouts, embedded control integration (e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical drawings, load schedules, and P&ID diagrams. Familiarity with industry safety standards, quality systems, and electrical testing procedures. Proficient in troubleshooting electrical faults and embedded system issues. Good team management, communication, and reporting skills. Preferred Experience (Add-on Skills): Knowledge of automation systems, drives, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP). Exposure to embedded systems integration with electrical hardware (e.g., sensor-actuator logic, microcontroller-based I/O boards).
