As an Electrical Manager/Sr Electrical Engineer at Mahalakshmi Profiles, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing power trading activities, focusing on the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and collaborating with Distribution Companies (DISCOMs), Transmission Companies (TRANSCOs), and other electrical departments. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, market analysis, stakeholder management, and ensuring efficient and profitable trading operations. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Managing and executing power trading strategies on the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) to optimize performance and profitability. - Analyzing market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes to make informed trading decisions. - Developing strategies to leverage market opportunities and mitigate risks. - Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with DISCOMs, TRANSCOs, and other electrical departments to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration. - Addressing and resolving issues related to power trading and distribution in a timely manner. - Conducting market research, preparing reports on trading performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. - Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance trading efficiency and achieve organizational goals. - Identifying new market opportunities to drive growth and profitability. Requirements for this role include: - Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in power trading within the Indian energy sector. - Proven experience with the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and familiarity with DISCOMs, TRANSCOs, and electrical departments. - Previous experience in the steel and manufacturing industry is highly preferred. - Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex trading operations and stakeholder relationships.
