Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) Development :

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable B2C Commerce solutions aligned with business and brand goals.
• Implement ISML templates, controllers, pipelines, jobs, services, and custom objects.
• Build and maintain storefront cartridges, scheduled jobs, scripts, and reusable components.
• Implement multi-site, multi-locale commerce experiences including product catalog, pricing, promotions, and checkout customizations.
• Develop secure, optimized, and scalable integrations with backend systems (ERP, OMS, CRM, payment gateways, logistics platforms, and third-party services).
• Implement headless commerce concepts using REST APIs and modern frontend patterns.
  

Salesforce Order Management (SOM)

• Configure and customize the SOM lifecycle including order capture, orchestration, routing, and fulfillment flows.
• Integrate B2C Commerce with SOM to enable seamless order management across channels.
• Implement custom flows, Apex services, and orchestration logic for order processing.
• Troubleshoot SOM issues across environments and provide advanced technical support.
  

Engineering & Delivery Excellence

• Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, and UI/UX teams to deliver robust, reusable, and high-performance commerce solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, optimize code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Participate in technical workshops, client meetings, demos, and requirement clarifications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments including staging and production.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with at least 6 years focused on Salesforce platforms.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) including :
• ISML, Pipelines/Controllers, Jobs, Custom Objects
• Data modeling for catalog, pricing, promotions, and checkout flows
• OCAPI, REST API integrations, headless commerce patterns
• Proficiency in Salesforce Order Management (SOM) including :
• Order lifecycle configuration and customization
• Orchestration and fulfillment flows
• Integration between SOM and Commerce Cloud
• Strong development experience in JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and Git-based version control workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities for global client interactions
