Job Description

  • An e-commerce marketing manager develops and implements strategies to drive online sales and enhance customer experience through digital marketing initiatives like SEO, PPC, email, and social media.
  • Key responsibilities include managing the e-commerce platform, analyzing performance data to optimize strategies, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from browsing to post-purchase. This role requires strong analytical, digital marketing, and leadership skills to meet e-commerce goals and drive revenue growth. Core Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Create and manage digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media, paid ads) to attract traffic and increase sales.
  • Website & UX Optimization: Oversee the e-commerce website to improve user experience, navigation, and conversion rates through A/B testing and continuous improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, logistics, IT, design, and other marketing teams to ensure seamless operations and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Promotions & Merchandising: Develop and manage pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and product assortment to align with marketing objectives.
  • Marketplace Management: Manage product listings, content, and sales across various e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
  • Customer Experience: Focus on creating a positive and seamless customer journey throughout the online shopping process. Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media marketing, and content creation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and use insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, web analytics tools (like Google Analytics), and potentially A/B testing tools.
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams, coordinate cross-functional projects, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • User Experience (UX) Knowledge: Understanding of how to design and optimize a website for user engagement and conversions.
  • Experience: Typically requires several years of experience in a fast-paced e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
